Earlier Amitabh Bachchan, OnePlus’ brand ambassador in India posted a picture on his Twitter account which revealed the colour options of OnePlus 6. The picture was later deleted, and the smartphone maker has already deliberately given away hints and teasers about its upcoming flagship revealing nearly all the OnePlus 6 specifications and features.
Geekbench Scores
OnePlus 6 was spotted on Geekbench with model number A6003. The listing has revealed some key details and confirms some of the rumoured specifications. The OnePlus flagship has scored 2402 on a single core test and 8931 on multi-core test on Geekbench.
The scores achieved by OnePlus are at par with other Snapdragon 845 powered smartphones. OnePlus 6 will pack in Qualcomm’s flagship chipset Snapdragon 845 under the hood.
OnePlus 6 – Confirmed Specifications
The smartphone will come with an octa-core Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM. The flagship will be available in a 6GB RAM variant as well, just like its predecessor OnePlus 5T.
The listing has also confirmed that OnePlus 6 will come with Android 8.1 Oreo and will run the latest Android out of the box. It will run OxygenOS on top in an updated version of Android loaded with a number of new features and the clean stock Android.
The OnePlus 6 will sport a 6.28-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels in a 19:9 aspect ratio with a notch at the top.
The listing has revealed that the upcoming OnePlus flagship will have an AMOLED screen, 256GB storage, a fingerprint scanner, glass back and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone will come with dual rear cameras (16MP + 20MP). A 16MP wide-angle shooter is expected up front.
The previous listing on TENAA also revealed that OnePlus 6 will come with a 3300mAh unit with the OnePlus Dash Charge 2.0 fast-charging support. OnePlus 6 measures 155.7 x 75.35 x 7.75mm and weighs at 177 grams in the listing.
OnePlus 6 – Price, India Launch & Availability
OnePlus 6 is expected to cost around Rs 35,000 for the base variant, and around Rs 40,000 for the higher-specced variant. The 256GB storage variant may launch in India as well.
OnePlus 6 will first launch globally in London and will make its way to India a day later on May 17. OnePlus 6 will be available exclusively via Amazon India in the country. The device will be available with an early access sale for Prime members which is scheduled to be held on May 21.
OnePlus 6 will also be available offline at presale pop-up stores across the country in eight Indian cities on May 21 and 22.
