Vodafone Updates Rs 349 Plan; Jio Brings World’s First AI-Based Brand Engagement Platform!

With the growing competition and stiff pricing, telecom companies are competing hard to offer data and calls at the cheapest rates possible. The market already has a bunch of budget plans from several incumbents. But Jio has become the industry benchmark for lowest rates and the others are trying to offer more benefits at par with Jio or even cheaper.
Jio spurred a telecom war almost eighteen months back, and the pricing insurgency still continues in the industry. Lately, Airtel is offering almost similar plans with same benefits as Reliance Jio. Now, it seems Vodafone doesn’t want to be left behind. The incumbent has updated the Rs 349 plan to offer additional 500MB data per day.
Vodafone’s Updated Rs 349 Plan
Both, Jio and Airtel, are offering special plans for IPL with free streaming included for all the matches. Vodafone India hasn’t launched any special offer for IPL yet. But, the revamped Rs 349 prepaid plan will now offer customers more data at the same price. The plan previously used to offer benefits of 2.5 GB of 3G/4G high-speed data per day.
The new upgrade will now bring an additional 500MB data per day, where users can now enjoy a total free usage of 3GB high-speed 3G/4G per day. The Rs 349 plan will now offer a total of 84 GB of data for a period of 28 days.
Apart from the 3GB data per day, the Rs 349 prepaid plan already offers unlimited voice calls (local and STD) with free outgoing and incoming calls on national roaming. The plan also offers free 100 SMS per day with a total of 84GB data.

Like Vodafone’s Rs 349 plan, Airtel also offers a same Rs 349 plan which offers 3GB data per day. Reliance Jio also has a 3GB data per day plan at Rs 299 with a 28-day validity.

Jio Interact – World’s First AI-Based Brand Engagement Platform
Reliance Jio has launched a first-of-its-kind service called Jio Interact where users can interact with celebrities. This is world’s first AI-based brand engagement video platform where you can interact with top stars through a Live Video Call.
Jio Interact will debut with legendary megastar Amitabh Bachchan who will be promoting his latest film 102 Not Out via the new platform.
How Jio Interact Works?
The Jio Interact is an AI-based video platform where users can make a live video call with celebrities directly. The platform aims to help brands to engage with the massive subscriber base of Jio which has access to over 150 million smartphone users in the country.

The AI on Jio Interact has an auto-learning feature which will keep improving its accuracy with time.
