Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 made its debut alongside Samsung’s premium flagship Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. It is the fastest chipset currently available on Smartphones.

Interestingly, both Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, unfortunately, doesn’t use the Snapdragon 835 chipset for their phones in India and has Samsung Exynos 8895 SoC for both the devices.

India officially received the first smartphone with Qualcomm’s latest flagship mobile SoC two days back with Sony XZ Premium. OnePlus 5 was rumoured to be the first phone with the 835 chipsets to launch in India, Sony took the cake with XZ Premium.

Xiaomi Mi 6

Mi 6 is the latest flagship from the Chinese Giant Xiaomi which got launched back in April 2017 in China and Xiaomi is eying a mid-July release for India. The device will clock in a 5.15 inch Full HD display and will get powered by 2.45GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with 6GB of RAM. With 64GB of internal storage and 12 MP Dual Camera setup, Mi 6 is a beast and probably the best phone in the sub-25k price bracket.

HTC U11

A smartphone which took four years to be made, HTC U11 is company’s latest flagship and a phone which can be squeezed. The HTC U11 can do such things which other phones can’t, from performing an array of actions via Google Assistant or opening up the camera app when you squeeze the U11.

With a 5.5 inch Quad HD display, the device will power the Snapdragon 835 chip with options of 4GB and 6GB of RAM. U11 will be getting the highest rated smartphone camera based on DxOMark rating. HTC is eyeing a mid-June release in India.

OnePlus 5

The official release date has been announced, and OnePlus will finally launch OnePlus 5 in India on 22nd this month (Global Release – 20th June). The handset has been in the headlines since the company announced the product for its over-the-top specifications. It is also expected to have one of the best low light cameras. OnePlus 5 will get powered by a 2.35GHz octa core Snapdragon 835 processor with 8GB of RAM with a 128 GB internal storage.

Motorola Moto Z2

The Moto Z2 Play got launched two days back, and the company will be announcing a number of handsets in coming days. Motorola has a lineup of new devices ready ranging from both budget phones to flagships. The Moto Z2 is one among the top handsets of the Motorola flagship lineup and will be getting a Snapdragon 835 SoC with 4GB of RAM. Nothing official hasn’t been announced till now, but Moto Z2 might be getting a launch around August in the country.
