Is there a free wifi hotspot in all shopping malls in Mumbai??
Mumbai has some cool Free WiFi zones. One good service is by Joispot WiFi which has installed a good number of WiFi hotspots across the city. Its free and connects automatically once you enter their WiFi zone. I like the App because I don’t have to search for WiFi, it connects automatically once it is within the range.
Not sure, but JoiSpot never worked for me. Everytime I try to login, either it takes too much of time to connect or just refuses to open any website like Google or Facebook.
Chennai ?
Only place is Chennai airport. There too it does not work consistently.
Oh, my Chennai ! You have become so backward that there is no free WiFi in the city. (Woodlands has paid WiFi, as have many hotels . Sify web cafes do not exist any more. ) And we are supposed to be an IT-city. No wonder people do not consider us a mainline city any more.
We get wifi in egmore station password:gbhegmoretrain67509

It’s good to know that internet connectivity is increasing rapidly in our nation. It’s expected that, India will be a tech-savvy nation soon and to this endeavour internet connectivity helps. Only thing to consider is that it should be secured and not be misused by the wrong hands. Railways stations, bus stops , metros or where ever. It’s interesting to see that even few builders are giving wifi to their residents. I wish few luxury apartments in my city calicut like superstone properties also come up with wifi network for the residents.
