As expected, Flipkart has announced the price and date for launch of Moto X. And like Moto G, Moto X is priced quite competitively. According to Flipkart, the Moto X will be launched at price of Rs. 23,999/- and will be available from March 19th (Tomorrow).

Flipkart has provided number of details on their Twitter and Facebook timelines. At launch, Moto X will have only 16GB version on sale and will be available in 5 color variants. The teak and walnut finish wood back variants will be available for Rs. 25,999/-.

Here is another interesting info that Flipkart offered about the launch. On March 19th, only black and white version will be in stock. The rest of color variants will be available for pre-order only.

Both the Black & White colored will be available for delivery immediately, and the ones on pre-order will be delivered in the 2nd week of April.

Moto X Price Launch

Interestingly, unlike Moto G, Moto X will be launched in the day time. Looks like Flipkart has learned from the mistake they committed during Moto G launch.

They had opened up the sales for Moto G at mid-night, but they faced lot of problems during that time. To add to the issue, within minutes the stock was over and they had to face wrath of many early buyers who kept themselves awake for buying the phone.

As far as the pricing of the phone gone, at Rs. 24k, Moto X is definitely worth it. It competes directly with Nexus 5, which is priced a few thousand rupees more. Both have very similar specifications, But Moto X wins on the software side of it. They have nifty touchless control feature where users can just command phone by saying “OK Google Now” followed by what they want to search or find.

One thing to remember, in our previous post we had mentioned that Moto X is LTE compatible, but Flipkart later backtracked saying, it is currently not compatible. Also, unlike Moto G, Moto X will be Single SIM phone and will not come in dual SIM version.

Moto X Launch Day Offers

Flipkart has also announced few launch day offers that should appeal to Moto X buyers. Flipkart is offering Moto X on EMI with a Rs. 1000 cashback offer. On the day of launch, Moto X buyers can also get Moto X cases for 70% off. Also, if you buy Moto X on the launch day you have a chance of getting Moto X completely free as 10 lucky customers get 100% cashback on their Moto X.

So, if you have been waiting for the Moto X launch, don’t miss tomorrow’s date!
