The new iPhones are supposed to launch in a few months, and Apple is expected to launch three new iPhones this year. As per the rumours, there is going to be a budget 6.1 inch iPhone 9 with an LCD display, iPhone 9 Plus with an OLED display and a premium version reportedly called iPhone X Plus. The iPhone X Plus variant will come with an 6.5 inch OLED display.

The upcoming Apple iPhones will launch in September. As per the leaked images and couple of hands-on videos, the new iPhones will come with some refreshing features this year. The dummy models of the iPhone 9, iPhone 9 Plus and iPhone X Plus also show that the new iPhones will support dual SIMs.

The 6.1 inch iPhone 9 is going to Apple’s entry-level iPhone variant this year. The budget lower-end iPhone 9 that will come with an LCD panel on top. Though, the plus variant, iPhone 9 Plus will come with a larger screen on top with an OLED display. The iPhone 9 generation smartphones will be Apple’s upgrade over its Apple 8 series.

Coming to the successor of the current Apple flagship iPhone X, the iPhone X Plus model will come with an 6.5 inch OLED display on top. The iPhone X Plus will have a similar physical size as iPhone 8 Plus, but it will have a larger 6.5 inch display.

iPhone 9, iPhone 9 Plus & iPhone X Plus – Expected Prices

The iPhone 9 with an LCD panel is expected to be priced between $600 (around Rs 40,300) and $700 (around Rs 47,000) in the US markets. The higher iPhone 9 variant, the iPhone 9 Plus with an OLED display will cost higher and may cost somewhere between $800 (around Rs 54,300) and $900 (around Rs 61,000) in the US markets.

Coming to the premium version of this year’s iPhone X, the successor will cost above $1000. The iPhone X Plus will be priced somewhere between $1000 (around Rs 68,300) and $1100 (around Rs 75,000).

Dual SIM Support On New iPhones

As per a new report, the upcoming iPhones will come with dual-SIM support to stand out against the tough competition in Asian markets. The dual SIM iPhones will only be available in China for now, but it may launch in India as well. Given the demand for dual SIM phones in India, Apple will not like to lose out on the opportunity.

The dual SIM card tray on iPhones will help Apple boost iPhone sales in the Asian and African markets, where dual SIM phones are preferred over single SIM devices. Almost every Android smartphone offers Dual SIM support, and Apple loses out on a potential customer base due to single SIM availability.

The dual SIM support on iPhones will allow Apple to compete better against the Android smartphone makers in these markets.

The OnePlus 6 Red Edition has been priced at Rs 39,999, and will be available exclusively via Amazon India and OnePlus stores starting July 16. Currently, OnePlus 6 is available in three colour options of Midnight Black, Mirror Black and Silk White.
