• Top 200 list of H1B employers in the world !

    Unsurprisingly, the Indian outsourcing firms dominate the list- In a Big Way ! Out of the top 5 companies, 4 of them are from India. The only exception being Microsoft Corporation. The other significant US companies are IBM and Oracle who come 8th and 9th on the list. Interestingly, 10 Indian firms alone account for more than 20000 H1B visas- that is nearly 1/3rd of the all H1B visas issued.
    The complete 200 list shows a mix of Indian and foreign outsourcing firms, technology vendors and American Universities.

    Atleast Microsoft takes the employees to US. Most Indian companies file for H1b’s just for the heck of it.

    hmm, interesting, the total for the top 200 alone comes out around 77k. that’s well beyond 65k

    It is an interesting observation. However, If you see that there are 65K H1B for skilled workers and 20,000 that are reserved extra for University Students. So I guess that may explain why the number is higher.

    HTC Global Services caught by US Department of Labor

    Companies which violate immigration laws need to be exposed. HTC Global Services is a company based in Troy, Michigan with offices around the world.

    In India, it has offices in Tambaram, a suburb of Chennai.

    This company has been found to violate US immigration laws. The following instances along with supporting evidence cautions employers and non-immigrant workers.

    1. HTC Global Services has been found to violate the US Immigration laws on “6/8/2000″ specifically “Failure to comply with subpart H or I (failed to obtain PW documentation)”.
