This Non-IIT Student Gets Rs 1.4 Crore Package From Google! Check His College, Qualification & More

A student at IIIT Allahabad scored a job offer from Google with an annual package of Rs 1.4 crore, which is roughly around Rs 11.6 lakh per month.

His Story

Pratham Prakash Gupta is an M.Tech student.

He secured a job at Google’s London office as a Software Engineer and is expected to join this year.

He made the announcement on his official LinkedIn account, saying that he was fortunate enough to have received “amazing offers from some of the world’s biggest organizations”.

He said that he eventually accepted Google’s offer and will join them after completing his graduation this year.

Huge Packages All Around

Not just him, but several other students from IIIT Allahabad’s M.Tech batch have secured packages worth crores at top tech companies.

5 students in particular received packages worth crores from giants like Amazon, Facebook, Google, Apple and Netflix.

Google’s 1.4 crore package is among the highest of all, followed by 1.25 and 1.2 crore placement offered to Anurag Makade and Akhil Singh from Amazon and Rubrik, respectively.

Record No. Of Placements

The institute said that the M.Tech batch 2022 has recorded a 100 per cent placement mark for the first time. 

Nearly 48 per cent B.Tech students also have received offers from companies like Facebook, Apple, Amazon, among others.
