Ikea’s 3rd Store In India Will Launch In Bengaluru On This Date: 7000 Products, 1000-Seater Restaurant & More

• Furniture titan IKEA is going to launch its first Bengaluru store on 22nd June 2022.
• The 4.60 lakh square feet store will feature more than 7,000 home furnishing products, and the large-format store is going to be connected to the Nagasandra metro station.
• the CEO of Ingka Group (IKEA India is part of the Ingka Group) Jester Brodin met Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai at the World Economic Forum in Davos and had discussions about the opening of the store.
• IKEA had stated earlier that the Bengaluru store is going to be the third IKEA store in India after the stores opened in Mumbai and Hyderabad. 

IKEA to open their first store in Bengaluru

The Swedish furniture and homeware retailer IKEA is going to open its very first store in the city of Bengaluru at Nagasandra on 22nd June, 2022. The 4.60 lakh square feet store is going to display more than 7,000 home furnishing products, and the large-format store will be connected to the Nagasandra metro station.

Last week, the CEO of Ingka Group (IKEA India is part of the Ingka Group) Jester Brodin met Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai at the World Economic Forum in Davos and had discussions about the opening of the store. Brodin has also invited the CM to the opening event.

IKEA has named Anje Heim as Karnataka market’s marketing manager 

IKEA has also stated that Anje Heim has become the marketing manager for the Karnataka market. Anje said that IKEA’s goal is to offer home furnishing solutions that match the aspirations and dreams of the vast population of Bengaluru.

How will the new IKEA store look?

As per the information provided by IKEA, the new store is going to spread over 12.2 acres and will also house the children’s play area along with a restaurant for a 1,000 seaters. The store is expected to bring in more than 7 million customers. IKEA had stated earlier that the Bengaluru store is going to be the third IKEA store in India after the stores opened in Mumbai and Hyderabad.
