Leading automobile manufacturer of India, Mahindra has now announced the upcoming launch of its Mahindra Scorpio SUV. This new SUV will be called Mahindra Scorpio-N, and it will be launched on June 27. 

Mahindra has also shared images of the new Mahindra Scorpio-N, which reveals information about the new SUV.

Mahindra To Launch New SUV; Mahindra Scorpio N

The current generation of Mahindra Scorpio will be sold under a new name, Mahindra Scorpio Classic.

With an unmissable design, thrilling performance and high-end technology, we continue to carry forward the Mahindra legacy of building authentic, tough yet sophisticated SUVs.”

Mahindra Scorpio N: Exterior, Interior, and Features

The exterior of the car has a new grille, with six slats and the new logo of Mahindra at the centre. There also are LED twin pod projector headlights and C-shaped LED fog lamps. There also are 18-inch alloy wheels on the new Mahindra Scorpio-N. 

The features on the car include a large touchscreen infotainment system, a new instrument cluster with a coloured central MID, as well as wireless charging, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, a dual-zone auto climate control, auto-dimming IRVMs, power-adjustable driver’s seats, 360-degree camera view, a large panoramic sunroof and the Adrenox Connected car tech.

The car will have individual bucket seats, a front-facing third row, and an electric sunroof. 

Mahindra Scorpio N: Powertrain

The car will be powered by the new 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine and a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder, diesel engine. The company will probably offer a 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox options with the diesel and petrol, along with a four-wheel-drive system, which will probably come with the top-spec variants. 

The new Mahindra Scorpio N will come with both petrol and diesel engines, along with a choice of manual and automatic transmissions, and 4×4 capabilities. The car has been codenamed Z101, and it has been build on a new body-on-frame platform.
