Indian IT services provider Infosys has now declared its results for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2021-2022. The company has recorded a net profit of Rs 5,686 crore, and revenue at Rs 32,276 crore.

In the quarter that ended March 21, the profit in the three months by Infosys was Rs 5,076 crore, and a revenue of Rs 26,311 crore.

The profit in the three months that ended December 2021 stood at Rs 5,809 crore and revenue was Rs 31,867 crore.

As per Salil Parekh, Infosys CEO and MD, “Infosys delivered highest annual growth in a decade with broad-based performance driven by deeply differentiated digital and Infosys Cobalt led cloud capabilities, powered by ‘One Infosys’ approach. We continue to gain market share as a result of sustained clients’ confidence in our ability to successfully navigate their digital journeys.”

He stated that there is plenty of potential to engage and partner with clients as they transform, adapt, and thrive as the speed of digital transformation is rapid.

We had previously reported that Infosys’s revenue from operations also grew 23% to Rs 31,867 crore on a YoY basis, and 7.7% on a QoQ basis, compared to Rs 25,927 crore in the quarter ending Dec-2020.

Infosys’s Brilliant Performance Continues

The Bengaluru-based firm said it delivered a strong Q3 performance with sequential growth in a seasonally weak quarter. Infosys outlined that its growth remained broad-based and dealt with momentum robustly, with digital transformation rapidly scaling across verticals and regions, stated a TOI report.

By winning large deals, Infosys’ total contract value grew $2.53 billion in Q3, with a healthy operating margin at 23.5%, and free cash flow conversion at 92.6%.

In 2021, the Bengaluru-based Indian IT giant had reported exceptionally green performance numbers in the third quarter, ending December 2020, exceeding its own expectations.

The IT giant reported a net profit jump of 16.8% to Rs. 5,197 crore, with revenues climbing up to Rs. 25,927 crore.

There also has been news that Infosys is all set to become the second-largest company in the IT sector, defeating Cognizant.
