Tasks Allotted

He declared this at a meeting with the chairpersons of selection boards.

They were directed to speed up the recruitment process, clear the backlog and start the process of fresh recruitments soon.

The government departments will run recruitment drives and public sector officials will prepare a list of vacancies.

The selection boards will coordinate with the state home department before conducting all recruitment exams.

The recruitment process should not be long, Adityanath said, adding that results should be announced on schedule.

Boards Involved

Care should also be taken when selecting the exam centres.

He asked the selection boards to use technology in the recruitment process and to monitor the exams to maintain its integrity.

The boards he called upon to carry out these tasks include:

  • Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission
  • UP Subordinate Service Selection Board
  • Police Recruitment Board
  • Higher Education Services Selection Board
  • Secondary Education Services Selection Board
  • Chief secretary and the additional chief secretaries of appointments and personnel
  • Higher education and secondary education departments

Promises For Second Term

Fresh off his election victory, once again serving as the Chief Minister of the state, he had said that the state government will provide jobs to the youth in the public sector.

He also aims to provide five crore jobs in Uttar Pradesh over five years.

This is one of the action points mentioned in BJP’s Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra- 2022 (manifesto).

Budget For Empowerment

The party had promised government jobs to the youths in the manifesto.

Adityanath has started working on the fulfilment of promises to the people soon after taking his position as the CM.

The newly sworn in government in UP is likely to present its first Budget of over Rs 6.5 lakh crore focusing on keeping the BJP’s poll promises of empowering the poor, farmers, youth and women.
