Maruti Launches CNG Variants For This Best Selling Car At Rs 8.14 Lakh (Full Details)
Maruti Suzuki, the largest player in the CNG segment in India has launched the new Dzire CNG.
It is offered in VXi and ZXi trims and in white, silver, gray, blue, brown and red colors.

Largest CNG Portfolio
The carmaker presently offers factory-fitted CNG kits on models like the Alto, S-Presso, WagonR, Eeco, Celerio and Ertiga.
Now it has added the DZire CNG to its extensive lineup.
It expects its CNG range to account for over 20% of its total sales in the near future.
It is set to take on the likes of Hyundai Aura CNG and Tata Tigor CNG in the compact sedan segment.
VXi Trim
In terms of design and features it is not too different from its petrol counterpart.
The VXi trim comes with features such as:

- Tilt adjustable steering wheel and multi-function controls
- Dual tone fabric finished interiors
- Electrically adjustable ORVMs
- 2 DIN music system
- Four speakers
- Manual air conditioning and rear AC vents.
ZXi Trim
The ZXi trim comes with:

Powertrain, Transmission, Mileage
It runs on a 1.2 liter DualJet engine that churns out 77 hp power and 98.5 Nm torque.
Transmission choices are limited to 5-speed manual only, removing the AMT option which was offered in petrol variants.
The car is claimed to have a mileage of 31.12km/kg, the best for a sedan in India.
Safety features under the hood include new stainless steel pipes and joints to prevent leakage in the CNG structure and safety switches to cut off the engine while refuelling.
Pricing, Booking, Subscription
Bookings can be made with a down payment of Rs 11,000.
The prices start from Rs 8.14 lakh and go up to Rs 8.82 lakh.
Customers can also avail it on a subscription basis starting at Rs 16,999 per month (all inclusive), while the regular petrol variants start from Rs 14,100 per month.
