This IT Company Has Permanent Work From Anywhere Policy For 15,000 Employees; Will Add 4500 More Employees

Digital engineering firm Nagarro announced that its workforce has crossed the 15,000 mark.

Feat Achieved Despite Competition

Despite the highly competitive nature of the IT jobs market, the firm has continued to attract talent thanks to its interesting digital projects and unique company culture.

As of 2020 end, the company employed 8,700 people.

14 months later, it achieved the milestone of employing 15,000 “Nagarrians”.

CEO Dr Manas Fuloria said that it reflects the company’s growth on the back of global demand for digital engineering.

Hiring Plans

Part of the growth has come through acquisitions but it has also hired in record numbers, specially in India.

Nagarro’s Indian workforce has been hired from over 130 cities in India.

Its hiring spree will continue, with the company looking to hire 4500 people including freshers to add to its global talent pool in the coming months.

Increasing Indian And Global Presence

It has also recently opened 4 new offices in Mumbai. Chennai, Kolkata and Patna.

With this, it is now present in 14 cities in India.

Adding Philippines in its latest addition, the company now has presence in 28 countries.

Permanent Remote Work Policy

It follows a permanent work from anywhere model but the employees are also given the opportunity to work from their hometown.

This is in line with its mission to “make distance irrelevant between intelligent people”.

The company’s website notes that it recognized the value of a team spread across regions before the pandemic forced companies to switch to a work from home model.
