This Company Will Charge Car Batteries In 15 Minutes! No More Range Anxiety? World’s Most Powerful Charger!
Many people nowadays are keen to shift to the electric vehicles, with many willingly paying extra for the value added of being environmentally friendly.
However, due to ‘range anxiety’, people who want to opt for electric vehicles are still buying the internal combustion cars.
Prolonged EV Charging Time Is A Problem
With most public charging stations filling cars too slowly, charging the car is excruciatingly slow. With drivers accustomed to filling their tank in less than five minutes, EV charging can be really painful and patience testing.
Such prolonged waiting periods, disincentive probable EV adopters.
That’s why not just the development of EV charging infrastructure but the time it takes to charge up a battery is crucial.
India is paving the way for EVs and the country is focused on reaching a high level of EV adoption by 2030.
ABB’s Terra 360 – Most powerful charger in the world
Recently, the high-tech ABB introduced its All-in-one (EV) electric car charger. It says it offers the fastest charging feeling on the market.
The new Tular 360 modular charger can simultaneously charge four EVs with dynamic power distribution. The new charger has a power output of 360kW and is capable of charging every electric car in less than 15 minutes.
This charger may indicate that it is changing the game. Currently, the Tesla Supercharger takes 30 minutes to charge up to 80% capacity.
Frank Muehlon, president of the ABB E-mobility Division, said, “As governments around the world draft public policy in favor of EVs and charging networks to combat climate change, the need for EV charging infrastructure – especially faster, simpler and easier to operate – higher than before. The Terra 360, with charging options tailored to a wide range of needs, is the key to meeting that need and accelerating global e-mobility acquisition. “
Its integrated approach allows it to not only access petrol stations but in any stores, parking lots or retail outlets where space is very high.
