On Republic day, Tork Motors announced the launch of the new Kratos electric bike in India.
The newly launched battery-powered motorcycle has been priced at Rs 1.02 lakh (Effective ex-showroom, Delhi/including subsidy).
The Kratos electric bike is offered in two versions including Kratos and Kratos R.
The vehicle maker has also opened the order books for both versions from 26 January only.
Although, the deliveries are set to start from April this year only.
How To Book Kratos Electric Bike?
For booking, the interested customers can go to the company’s official website where the bookings are open currently.
They can get the motorcycle booked by paying just Rs 999 on the company’s official website.
Coming to availability, the new Tork Kratos EV will be made available PAN India in a phased manner.
Initially, the will be launched in a phased manner in major Indian cities such as Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai and Delhi.
In the second phase, Tork Motors will take the motorcycle to more cities.
Kratos Electric Bike Features And Specifications
The newly launched eclectic motorcycle gets an IP67-rated 4 Kwh lithium-ion battery pack with a system voltage of 48V.
Coming to the capacity, the bike has an IDC range of 180 km while the real-world range stands at 120 km.
The electric bike has been rated to achieve a top speed of 100 kmph.
Besides this, Kratos Electric Bike offers an Axial Flux type electric motor with a max power of 7.5 Kw and a peak torque output of 28 Nm.
In 4 seconds, the bike could achieve the initial acceleration of 0-40 kmph, as the company claims.
The higher-spec Kratos R comes with a more powerful motor that delivers 9.0 Kw/38 Nm.
It also has a higher top speed of 105 kmph compared to the standard model.
Fast Charging And Color Options
It is noteworthy here that fast charging is only made available in the Kratos R motorcycle.
Kratos R motorcycle comes with some other additional connectivity features including Geofencing, Find my vehicle feature, Motorwalk assist, Crash alert, Vacation mode, Track mode analysis as well as Smart charge analysis.
The standard model of the Kratos motorcycle is only available in a single white color option.
Although, the higher-spec model comes in a range of choices such as White, Blue, Red and Black.
