BSNL has launched its broadband plan priced at Rs 999 per month which comes with new benefits.

Free Disney+ Hotstar Premium
The Fiber to the home (FTTH) plan called the Super Star Premium Plus is available across all telecom circles except Andaman and Nicobar from January 4.
Customers get a free Disney+ Hotstar premium subscription which gives them access to the entire catalogue of the streaming platform.
The price of the subscription directly on the app is Rs 1499 per year.
Additional Benefits
Data benefits include up to 150 Mbps speed till 2000 GB is exhausted, after which the speed is reduced to 10 Mbps.
Apart from Disney+ Hotstar, users can also enjoy content from Lions Gate LLP, Shemaroo Me and Shemaroo Gujarati, Hungama Music and Hungama play SVOD, SonyLIV Premium, Zee5 Premium, Voot Select, and YuppTV Live.
Discontinued Plans
The telco has decided to stop offering the Fibre Broadband plan ‘Super Star-2’ priced at Rs 949.
Also discontinued is the Fibre Premium’ plan priced at Rs. 999.
Customers availing these plans will continue to enjoy its benefits till it expires.
Rival Telcos’ Offerings: Airtel
It offers a plan called Airtel XStream entertainment broadband plan which costs Rs 999.
Benefits include unlimited internet and calls with high speed up to 200 Mbps.
Other goodies it offers include a yearly subscription to Zee5 Premium and Amazon Prime with access to the Airtel XStream box.
Also on offer is access to Disney+ Hotstar Super in which users get access to 2 devices with video quality restricted in HD.
JioFiber
Its Rs 999 broadband plan offers standard benefits of unlimited voice calling and unlimited internet with download and upload speeds of up to 150 Mbps.
Other benefits include access to 15 OTT apps including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, Zee5, Sony Liv, Voot Select, Lionsgate, SunNxt, Hoichoi, Alt Balaji, Voot Kids, Eros Now, Discovery +, Alt Balaji, and Hungama Play.
Excitel
Its broadband plan comes with unlimited internet and 300 Mbps priced at Rs 999.
Its Rs 752 broadband plan gives users free access to multiple OTT platforms namely ZEE5, Voot, Eros, Shemaroo.
This costs Rs 752 per month and Rs 2256 for three months.
