Kia Carens is grabbing headlines!

The Kia Carens, highly-anticipated and the fourth product from Kia Motors in India is set to be unveiled today for the Indian Market.

Previously we got to know that Kia Carens will be a ‘made in India, made for the world’ product that will be manufactured at Kia’s manufacturing facility in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh.

The Kia Carens is the first model to be introduced in the country under the company’s latest design philosophy – ‘Opposites United’. The Kia Carens is likely to compete with the likes of the Hyundai Alcazar, Mahindra XUV700 and Tata Safari.

Exterior 

The crown jewel headlamps’ dazzling DRLs are based on the company’s new unique lighting idea, ‘The Star map.’ The tiger face is created by the horizontal chrome garnish in the upper grille and the frame-type chrome garnish in the lower bumper.

A set of 16-inch dual-tone crystal cut alloy wheels and two-tone side door garnish emphasise the sides. A chrome rear bumper garnish with diamond knurling pattern, premium gloss black rear skid plate, integrated rear spoiler with gloss black side cover, and a rear centre fascia reflector are all included in the package.

Interior

The Kia Carens features a single wing-style air vent design and premium run-around silver garnish are added to the vehicle. It includes 64-color ambient mood lighting, ventilated front seats, a SkyLight sunroof.

Carens offers paddle shifters, roof flushed second and third row diffused AC vents, wireless charger with cooling function, five USB C-type interfaces, and boarding assist handle with illumination.

Six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Hill-Assist Control (HAC), Downhill Brake Control (DBC), Brake Assist System (BAS), Highline TPMS.

Safety

Six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Hill-Assist Control (HAC), Downhill Brake Control (DBC), Brake Assist System (BAS), Highline TPMS, and All Wheel Disc Brakes are among the Kia Carens’ standard safety features. Front parking sensors, highline TPMS, and rain-sensing wipers are among the additional safety features.

Colour

Kia Carens will come in the shade Imperial Blue, Moss Brown, and Sparkling Silver.Also the car will be available in colours like Intense Red, Aurora Black Pearl, Gravity Grey, and Glacier White Pearl.

Kia Carens will offer four broad trims: Premium, Prestige, Luxury, and Luxury Plus.
