IRCTC is planning something which will gear up the domestic tourism by trains. IRCTC, Indian Railways’ e-ticketing arm, has planned a series of Shri Ramayana Yatra Tours.
So one such tour will begin from November 7 according to IRCTC!
The train travel packages are not that costly, in fact, the Pilgrim Special Tourist Trains and Deluxe Tourist trains have been planned for keeping in mind about the different classes of people, their needs of budget and premium passengers.

“IRCTC has planned the train tour packages utilising its Pilgrim Special Tourist Trains and Deluxe Tourist Trains duly understanding the requirement of the budget and premium segment tourists,”
“The first departure on the Ramayana Circuit train will commence on November 7 from New Delhi followed by four other departures in the subsequent month,”

Shri Ramayana Yatra Tour Package
The Shri Ramayana Yatra Express-Madurai will leave on November 16. This will be a low-cost train with sleeper cars.
The train will depart from Madurai and stop in Dindigul, Tiruchchirappalli, Karur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Chennai Central, Renigunta, and Cuddapah, among other places. It will pass through Hampi, Nasik, Chitrakoot, Allahabad, Varanasi, and Madurai before returning to Madurai.
Shri Ramayana Yatra Express-Sri Ganganagar
Shri Ramayana Yatra Express-Sri Ganganagar with its pilgrim special tourist trains offers a 16-night/17-day package, with the train departing on November 25.
The train will start from Sri Ganganagar with boarding and de-boarding points at Abohar- Malout, Bhatinda, Barnala, Patiala, Rajpura, Ambala Cantt., Kurukshethra, Karnal, Panipat, Delhi Cantt, Gurgaon, Rewari, Alwar, Jaipur, Agra Fort, Itawah and Kanpur.
