Mahindra XUV 700 Has This Amazing Feature: Can It Beat Hyundai Alcazar, Toyota Innova, MG Hector?

As a rather premium replacement for the XUV500, Mahindra & Mahindra is all set to launch upcoming Mahindra XUV700 in the Indian market in October this year. In its new teaser video for the XUV700, Mahindra & Mahindra has showcased a new safety feature of the upcoming SUV, called ‘Auto Booster headlamps’.

What Will ‘Auto Booster headlamps’ Do?

When the vehicle crosses 80 kmph while driving around at night, this new system boosts the headlight, by switching on additional lights.

The difference, with and without the Auto Booster headlamps, is quite significant as per the video. Drivers get less time to react to obstacles on the road as the speed of a vehicle increases.

This problem is made even worse at night, when visibility is low, and the low point of the obstacle from far, far away. Due to the increase of the range of the headlights and the driver will be able to see far into the distance, which will give them more time to react and, therefore, increases the safety factor as well. The XUV700 will be expected to be equipped with many safety and comfort features, such as front and side airbags, an adjustable driver’s seat with memory function), electronic parking brake, panoramic roof, etc., etc.
