The Western Railways has now announced that the services of 4 special trains will be extended to meet the demand of the travellers.

Western Railways To Run Special Trains Between Mumbai And Bihar
In January this year, the Western Railways announced that the special locals will be now expanded to all 1367 local trains, which was limited to only 1201 trains as of now.
Before the pandemic started, Central Railways operated more than 1580 local trains, which stopped from March 23rd, due to the lockdown.
However, in the second week of May, the Western Railways had announced that some more special trains, 14 to be exact, will be cancelled until further notice due to low occupancy.
And now, the news is that the trips of 4 special trains will be extended in order to look after the convenience of the passengers and also to meet the demand of travellers.
As per reports, the special trains will be running on Mumbai, Barauni, Samastipur and Bhagalpur routes. Also, they will run on special fares as fully reserved trains.
The Western Railways has also issued a statement about the same, where they have said that only the passengers that have confirmed tickets will be permitted to board these special trains.
Also, the Western Railways also Advised passengers to follow all the necessary protocol and SOP during the boarding, travelling and at the destination during the boarding travelling and at the destination in order to be safe from being infected by the COVID-19 virus.
