Realme will hold a mega launch event to unveil a number of products including a set of new smarts TVs, Realme X7 Max 5G and the Realme Gaming phone is also expected, which could essentially be the rebranded Realme GT Neo. Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth confirmed that Realme will unveil a set of new products and mobiles at the biggest launch event of the year, all set to be held on May 4. Sheth also confirmed that Realme will announce India’s first Dimensity 1200 powered smartphone.
Already leaked on a number of occasions, the Realme Dimensity 1200 phone is said to be Realme X7 Max 5G.
The Realme Mega launch event will take place on May 4 after the 9:00 minute mark directly on the Ask Madhav episode on YouTube and other channels across. The Realme launch event will also celebrate the anniversary of the brand, which debuted in 2018 in May with the first ever Realme 1 (used to a sub-brand under Oppo).
Realme will unveil the first-ever Dimensity 1200 smartphone in the country, and alongside there will be other products as well. A new Realme TV will be launched at the upcoming event, Sheth has confirmed. The upcoming Realme TV will offer a new cinema experience with handsfree voice control. The TV will support Dolby Vision & Audio experience.
The company is also planning to launch a new 43-inch 4K TV and he new 49-inch / 50-inch TV with a similar home theatre experience. The company entered the TV segment almost a year back, and hence has been able to perform well in the category, though Xiaomi continues to retain the top spot when it comes to smart TVs in Infiat.
While we are yet to know which of the Realme products will be announced on May 4 in India, the new Realme TV, Realme X7 Max 5G and the Realme Gaming Phone (Realme GT Neo) seems to be confirmed as of now. This year, Realme marks the three years anniversary, already labelled as the fastest growing brand in the world on consecutive occasions.
The Realme Dimensity 1200 powered phone will be a rebranded Chinese Realme GT Neo, said to come as the Realme X7 Max 5G in the country. Recent reports say the Indian variant will be available in two models: 8 GB RAM with 128 GB storage and 12 GB RAM with 256 GB storage. The device is said come in three color options: Mercury Silver, Asteroid Black, and Milky Way.
Realme X7 Max 5G will pack in a 6.43-inch S-AMOLED Full HD+ display offering 120Hz refresh rate, Dimensuty 1200 chip, LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 3.1 storage and backed by a 4,500mAh battery.
Coming to optics, Realme X7 Max 5G is said to feature a 16-megapixel front camera. At the back, the upcoming Realme phone will don a 64-megapixel primary sensor inside a triple camera system with a 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The Realme phone is expected to come with an in-display fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, Realme UI 2.0 based Android 11 OS and 50W fast charging support.
