Realme 8 Pro will be a camera heavy-weight with a host of in-house customisations. Realme 8 India launch was teased on Twitter by the Realme country head Madhav Sheth. The company just unveiled the Narzo 30 Pro and Narzo 30A smartphones in the country alongside Realme Buds Air 2.
The tweet didn’t have Realme 8 anywhere, but it had #InfiniteLeapWith8 with a cryptic image of 108, hinting at the 108MP sensor. The tweet also reads “Do you guys know what 108 stands for?” and the teaser image has a mention of number 108.
Sheth also said the company will share more details tomorrow, so we will get to know how many models will Realme 8 series have this time. The news also came in the middle of when it’s arch rival Xiaomi is prepping up for the launch of the much-awaited Redmi Note 10 series, the most popular series by the brand in India.
Coming to Realme 8 specifications, leaked details previously appeared on the Geekbench with model number RMX3092. The upcoming Realme phone is said to be powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset clocked at 2GHz, so again after Narzo 30 Pro 5G, the Realme 8 may become the most affordable 5G phone in the country.
Realme 8 is said to come with 8GB RAM and run Android 11 OS out of the box. China’s 3C certification suggested 65W fast-charging support, and expect a beefy battery as well. Realme 8 already has bagged the statutory BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification for India launch. Realme 8 India launch is expected in a couple of weeks from now including the top-end Realme 8 Pro.
