50% Of All New IT Jobs Listed In These 4 Indian Cities; These Skills Are In Heavy Demand Now!

Of all the new upcoming IT jobs, more than 50% are in IT and will be in some popular metro cities, including Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, and Delhi. 

The gradual shift of all industries to digital modes is quite evident, and companies are asking for candidates to be employed in certain digital skills.

SCIKEY Report States IT Jobs In Great Demand; 50% Demand In These Cities!

As per a new report by SCIKEY Market Network, a digital marketplace for jobs, work and business solutions, companies are looking to hire IT professionals who are well trained in SAP, Node.js and communication technology,

There is a huge demand for Project managers, software developers and testers, consultants and digital marketing leads, whihc is evident from the numbers, 55%, 65%, 60%, 33% and 30%, respectively. The IT sector is looking to hire these professionals on a priority.

The role which has the highest demand is that of a project manager, with 30% demand from Bengaluru, 15% demand by Delhi-NCR and 13% demand from Pune. the demand for these managers is the highest from the IT sector, with 55% demand, followed by construction (6%), recruitment (5%) and banking (3%).

Developers, Digital Marketers In Great Demand Too

There is a high demand for developers in Bengaluru, 65% of the jobs are in the IT sector, which is followed by internet/e-commerce, recruitment, and banking

Also, digital marketers have been found to be in great demand, as companies are inclining towards establishing a digital presence. For this position, Bengaluru has the highest demand, as much as 24%, followed by Delhi-NCR (26%), Mumbai (14%) and Hyderabad. As per the report, this demand is coming in from IT companies, BPOs, advertising agencies and staffing firms.
