UP Govt Will Create 50 Lakh New Jobs

The Yogi Adityanath Govt has declared the launch of ‘Mission Rozgar’ (Mission Employment), which aims to generate 50 lakh or 5 million new jobs in the state.

A deadline of March, 2021 has been set.

All these jobs will be created within various Govt departments.

This has been confirmed by Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Rajendra Kumar Tiwari.

How Will 50 Lakh Jobs Be Created?

As per Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Rajendra Kumar Tiwari, Govt will explore all avenues within various Govt departments, and ensure that 50 lakh jobs are created.

Besides jobs self-employement opportunities will also be created for entrepreneurs.

He said, “Under Mission Rozgar, a programme will be organised to create more employment and self-employment jobs in various departments, organisations, voluntary organisations, corporations, councils, boards and various local bodies of the state government.”

However, the exact details are not out.

App, Website To Be Created

In order to create awareness, and to make it easier for the youth to get a new Govt job, a dedicated app and portal will be created under the Directorate of Training and Employment.

This portal will list all the new jobs, and requirements by the respective departments, wherein the unemployed can apply.

The feasibility and operations of this massive employment program will be handled by Infrastructure and Industrial Development Commissioner (IIDC), along with a high level committee headed by the chief secretary himself.
