Oneplus has confirmed that Oneplus 8T will be the 1st non-pixel smartphone to have Android 11 as pre-installed.
Meanwhile, it seems that Oneplus 8T Pro will not be launched this year.

Oneplus 8T To Have Android 11
OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has confirmed that Oneplus 8T will have Android 11, out of the box.
This way, Oneplus 8T will become the first smartphone to have Android 11, if we leave aside Pixel smartphones from Google.
As per Pete, Oneplus 8T will have OxygenOS 11, which is based on Android 11.
Since Oneplus 8T will have Android 11, it will be loaded with some interesting new features and concepts, which will be a first for Android users.
Pete explained, “We’ve introduced a new layout that moves touch controls closer to your thumbs for easier access, a wide range of Always on Display options to let you customise your interface, more intuitive animations and gestures to help you more quickly access important information, and other features that will let you enjoy a more well-rounded, personalised user experience,”
Meanwhile, Oneplus 8T has reached Geekbench benchmarking site, with the 128GB variant. And as per details available, it is being powered with a SoC codenamed Kona, which is in reality Qualcomm Snapdragon 865.
This is surprising, since everyone was believing that Oneplus 8T will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor. 120Hz refresh rate and 65W charging is also expected.
Oneplus 8T will be launching on October 14th, and we are awaiting for official confirmation on the processor.

Oneplus 8T Pro Cancelled This Year?
In another announcement, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has confirmed that Oneplus 8T Pro is not launching on October 14th, alongside Oneplus 8T.
For those who are looking to acquire a Pro model, Pete as suggested going for Oneplus 8 Pro as of now.
However, there will be few ‘surprises’ in store during the launch on Oneplus 8T, and we are keenly awaiting the same!
