Redmi 9 is going to be a part of the Redmi 9 Prime series. The device will be in line with the newly launched Redmi 9i. The handset will come with 4GB of RAM, confirmed in the teaser by Xiaomi. Redmi 9i will offer upto 128GB of storage as Redmi 9 Prime along with an option to expand storage.
Leaked reports suggest that Redmi 9i will come in two models: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 4GB RAM with 128GB storage.
The original Redmi 9 Prime features a 6.53-inch IPS LCD Full HD+ display offering a screen resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, Redmi 9i will probably house the mid-range Helio G80 SoC with 4GB of RAM and upto 128GB storage.
