Twitter, YouTube Buzzing With iPhone Launch Speculations!
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman tweeted on Sunday, “I wouldn’t get too excited about rumors of new Apple products appearing this week. More likely I think: an announcement of the upcoming (of course virtual) September iPhone/Apple Watch event.
He suggested that the upcoming event might reveal the details of the iPhone 12 series and Apple Watch Series 6. That means Apple may send out invites for the virtual event this week, where it’s expecting to announce new iPhone models.
According to Gurman, the iPhone 12 event announcement could be made on September 8, which is tomorrow.
Previously, Jon Prosser of Front Page Tech, a YouTube channel, said the new iPad Air and Apple Watch Series 6 will launch via a press release in the week of September 7.
Now the leakster took to Twitter and said that Apple has a press release scheduled for Tuesday, September 8 at 9:00 a.m. EST, although it notes the time is not locked until the same day.
What Is Expected To Be Revealed at the Next Apple Virtual Conference?
According to various leaks and reports, Apple is expected to announce four new iPhone models,
- 5.4-inch iPhone 12,
- 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Max,
- 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro, and
- iPhone 12. 6.7 inch Pro Max.
The iPhone 12 is likely to feature a brand-new design with OLED displays, 5G connectivity, improved cameras, improved battery life, and more. The iPhone 12 lineup would start at $649 (around Rs 49,220)
The fall event will also see the unveiling of the Apple Watch mode like it does typically. The Apple Watch Series 6 is said to be equipped with sleep tracking, blood oxygen monitoring, better battery life, better waterproofing, and a kid’s mode.

A cheaper Apple Watch model is likely to be launched too.
The company at this event is expected to talk about iPad Air 4, which could feature an all-screen display and four speakers, similar to the iPad Pro.
Other launches like AirTags, on-ear Bluetooth headphones, the updated Apple TV streaming box, and the cheaper HomePod are likely to be announced by the company next month.
