Jobs In 2020: HCL Hires 800 Techies Virtually; Paytm Hires 1000 Employees For Expansion
The IT behemoth, HCL Technologies is conducting a virtual mega-recruitment drive on August 29 and 30 wherein the company will hire 800 techies.
Similarly, Paytm is looking for engineers, data scientists, financial analysts, and more for tech and non-tech roles and planning to add over 1000 such employees to its workforce.

Who is HCL Looking to Add to its Workforce?
HCL will be conducting this recruitment drive at Nagpur at its MIHAN campus. HCL’s Nagpur campus has always been a strategic development center for the company.
Sanjay Gupta, Corporate Vice President at HCL Technologies said, “After receiving an overwhelming response last year, we are again conducting HCL’s Mega Recruitment Drive in Nagpur to bring in global career opportunities for the experienced IT professionals of the region.”
The company is planning to hire preferably candidates native to Nagpur. HCL’s program is inviting those from Nagpur but working elsewhere and trying to return to their hometown as well.
In an official statement, HCL Technologies said, “This year, we are offering over 800 job opportunities for experienced professionals at HCL Technologies campus in MIHAN, Nagpur. It will be a great opportunity for working professionals with the desired skills and experience to apply for the virtual mega recruitment drive.”
HCl’s recruitment team will assess the profiles and select the eligible candidates and provide them the details for the recruitment drive.

Paytm Expanding Its Operations Amidst The Pandemic?
Recently, Paytm announced the setting up of Noida campus in Uttar Pradesh to accommodate its growing team.
Rohit Thakur, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), Paytm told ET, “Over the last 3-4 months, we have inducted and virtually onboarded close to 700 new colleagues at various levels in Paytm. These new hires would be made for both tech and non-tech roles across Paytm and its subsidiaries.”
In addition to hiring over 1000 employees, Paytm is also looking to hire around 50 senior-level employees to its workforce.
The digital-payment firm with a view to expanding its operations is looking into hiring senior talent. These employees will be recruited from Paytm’s group companies including Paytm Money, Paytm First Games, lending, and insurance businesses.
The tech and non-tech positions will be filled across Paytm’s operations in cities like Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.
Previously it was reported that 20 senior executives exited Paytm. However, the company clarified that over 140 have been hired for leadership roles in vice-president and above positions.
