It features a 6.44-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display offering a 90Hz refresh rate with dual punch-hole on the top right corner.

The OnePlus Nord display offers a touch sampling rate of 180Hz for gaming with an in-display fingerprint sensor beneath.

In comparison, Realme X3 at the same price comes with a 6.6-inch IPS LCD Full HD+ display at 120Hz refresh rate. Redmi K20 Pro has a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED notch-less 60Hz Full HD+ display. OnePlus Nord wins here with an AMOLED panel and also by offering a higher 90Hz refresh rate.

Hardware, Storage

OnePlus Nord is powered by mid-range Qualcomm 5G chip, the Snapdragon 765G. The chip pairs with 6GB RAM with 64GB storage, 8GB with 128GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. Snapdragon 765G comes with a few better CPU configurations, enhanced GPU and 5G connectivity.

In the same price Realme X3 and X3 Pro runs on a better chip, the Qualcomm’s flagship predecessor Snapdragon 855+ SoC. Redmi K20 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 855.

Realme X3 has some definite advantage here with the best chip among the contenders. But in terms of daily use, you won’t find any big difference between the two smartphones from Realme and OnePlus.

Software, UI

OnePlus Nord runs on Android 10 out of the box with OxygenOS. The latest OxygenOS comes with multiple upgrades and optimisations. It now offers improved animations, visuals, unlocking speeds, app switches, enhanced control in landscape mode and more.

UI or software is a personal choice where anyone could find OxygenOS comfortable and one might find MIUI or Realme UI better. So we leave this up to you.

Cameras

OnePlus Nord comes with a quad-camera set-up. The four camera system features a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 main sensor with an f/1.75 lens with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) + Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS) support.

The setup further includes a 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with 119 field-of-view (FOV), a 5-megapixel macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture, and 2-megapixel depth sensor unit.

Upfront, the OnePlus Nord features a 32-megapixel primary sensor coupled with an 8-megapixel depth sensor.

Realme X3 quad rear camera setup features a 64-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. Further it includes a secondary 12-megapixel telephoto sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide tertiary sensor with f/2.3 aperture and finally a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture.

Redmi K20 Pro has a three camera system featuring a Sony 48MP IMX586 primary sensor, 13MP secondary ultrawide lens and a third 8MP telephoto lens.

All the smartphones can capture some great shots irrespective of lighting conditions. The colours are quite accurate with proper white balance playing the role on Nord and X3. The Realme X3 has a better main sensor on paper and at times it will excel OnePlus Nord in difficult conditions.

Battery, Fast Charging

OnePlus Nord houses a slightly smaller 4,115mAh battery with 30W fast charging support (Warp 30T). The Warp Charge 30T technology is 23 percent faster than the previous OnePlus 7 Pro’s Warp 30 charging technology.

OnePlus Nord with Warp 30T charger can juice up the device from 5 to 100 percent in one hour and 25 minutes.
