Here’s the list of the expected upcoming smartphones under 15000 in July 2020 in India and in the following weeks.
Realme C11
Realme C11 launched in Malaysia. The new Realme device features a 6.5-inch Mini-drop notch display with an HD+ (1600×720) resolution. Realme C11 will be powered by the 2.3GHz MediaTek Helio G35 gaming-centric budget chipset with the HyperEngine technology and IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Realme C11 comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage with support for additional storage. Realme C11 features a dual camera setup at the back.
The camera setup includes a 13MP primary sensor and 2MP depth sensor with a 5MP selfie camera upfront. Realme C11 houses a 5,000mAh battery and will ship with Android 10-based Realme UI. Realme C11 price in Malaysia starts at RM 429 (around Rs 7,500).
Redmi 9A
Redmi 9A launched with a 6.53-inch HD+ (1600×720) LCD display with a water drop notch. Redmi 9A will be powered by 2GHz MediaTek Helio G25 chipset. The company aims to deliver a powerful gaming experience equipped with HyperEngine technology and IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The chip will pair with 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. Redmi 9A has a vertical camera module at the back with a single 13MP camera sensor
Upfront Redmi 9A has a 5MP selfie camera up front and a triple card slot for dual SIM cards. Redmi 9A houses a 5,000mAh battery running on Android 10 with MIUI 11 on top.
Redmi 9C
Redmi 9C launched alongside with Redmi 9A with a similar 6.53-inch HD+ (1600×720) LCD water drop display running on 2.3GHz MediaTek Helio G35 chipset with the HyperEngine technology and IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Redmi 9C chip pairs with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage with support for storage expandability. Redmi 9C has a square-shaped camera with a 13MP main camera, a 5MP ultra wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor.
Upfront Redmi 9C features a 5MP selfie camera inside the water drop notch up front. Redmi 9C houses a 5,000mAh battery running on Android 10 based MIUI 11.
Poco M2 Pro
Poco M2 Pro price and specs are out. Confirmed now, Poco M2 Pro launch is all set to happen on July 7. The teased images confirm support for 33W fast charging. Poco M2 Pro could either be powered by the already available Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor or MediaTek Dimesnity 820 SoC. While it was being assumed to be Poco F2 Pro, but it seems to be the all-new Poco M2 Pro. The Poco M2 Pro has been previously spotted on Bluetooth SIG and Wi-Fi Alliance, and now it has received the BIS certification for launch in India.
Leaked by serial tipster Mukul Sharma, Poco M2 Pro has been found on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) site with model number M2003J6CI. The model number matches up with the previously leaked Poco smartphone from Bluetooth certification and Wi-Fi Alliance sites.
Realme 6S
Realme 6S leaks are already out, and it will come with 48MP powered quad camera setup at the back. A slightly toned-up version of Realme 6, the upcoming Realme 6S will run on Helio G90T gaming-centric processor. The camera setup on Realme 6S will include an ultra wide angle lens, macro lens and a depth sensor for portrait shots. The specifications are expected to remain largely the same between Realme 6S and Realme 6.
The company last year unveiled a similar Realme 5S, a toned-up version of the bestselling budget Realme 5. Similarly Realme 6S will sit between Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro, expected to be priced under Rs 15,000 in the country.
Realme U2
Realme U2 India launch could be happening soon as a new Realme device has received the regulatory BIS certification in the country. While the Realme U series hasn’t seen any upgrade in 2019, a successor is expected in mid-2020. There have been a few leaks about Realme U2 in the past, but all turned out to be fake. Even in mid-2019, the company refreshed the Realme U1 series with a new 3GB/64GB model.
While the other Realme series will continue to have upgrades, the Realme U series may finally get a successor in 2020 with Realme U2, another selfie-centric Realme smartphone.
Mi A4
Mi A4 could be coming soon. Mi CC10 series is in the works, and the upcoming CC10 device will probably be remodelled as Mi A4 in India. The device is said to be launching as early as next month, as it will succeed the Xiaomi Mi CC9 series. Mi CC9 in India was unveiled as a remodelled Mi A3, and the upcoming Mi A4 is expected to be remodelled Mi CC10 for India.
Mi A4 concept renders leaked early this year as well and some key details were leaked about the upcoming Xiaomi Android One smartphone. The recent leak about the upcoming Mi A4 sheds more log har about the camera setup and hardware.
Redmi 9
Redmi 9 has been unveiled in China, and the device could come to India at under Rs 10,000. Redmi 9 has already been spotted on the BIS certification hinting at an imminent launch in the country. Redmi 9 India launch may happen by the end of July. Redmi 9A could also be unveiled as a part of the affordable budget Redmi 9 series. Redmi 9 features a 6.53-inch IPS LCD Full HD+ display.
Under the hood, Redmi 9 will house the mid-range Helio G80 SoC with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage. Stable build of MIUI 12 for Redmi 9 is expected to be available in August. Redmi 9 has a quad rear camera system powered by a 13MP main sensor with a large 5,020 backing it.
Redmi Note 9
Redmi Note 9 has been spotted on WiFi Alliance, hinting at an India launch soon. Unveiled in China on April 30, India is yet to get the Redmi Note 9. Redmi Note 9 features a 6.53-inch IPS LCD Full HD+ display with a punch-hole cutout upfront, but on the corner unlike the Redmi Note 9 series. Redmi Note 9 features a four camera setup: a primary 48-megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 2-megapixel depth camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
Redmi Note 9 runs on Android 10 with MIUI 11 on top. Redmi Note 9 houses a 5,020mAh battery as Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max with support for 18W fast charging. The 18W fast charger will ship with the device.
Moto One Fusion
At the upcoming Motorola Event on July 7, the company may unveil the toned-down Moto Edge Lite as per the leaked sources. Motorola will probably unveil Motorola One Fusion and Motorola Edge Lite at the upcoming event in July. The company already unveiled the Motorola Edge+ in India and the Motorola One Fusion+ in the country, and the budget variants of both the Moto devices are expected to be available in the country by July.
Motorola One Fusion and Motorola Edge Lite will be available at their respective price points, the former in the mid-budget category while the latter in the entry-premium flagship segment. The Motorola event will be an online-only event, scheduled on July 7, 6:30PM IST to be directly streamed on YouTube and Twitter.
