Airtel, Jio New Prepaid Plans Launched: Get 1GB/Day For Rs 99; Yearly Plan At Rs 7/Day!

The lockdowns to curb the COVID-19 virus has forced the students to attend the lectures online and adults to work from home. Hence the data consumption has increased. 

Last week Reliance Jio and Airtel launched new prepaid plans for their users. Jio’s plans target users working from home whereas Airtel aims to offer budget plans to its users.

Jio Offering A Yearly Plan With 2GB/Day !

Reliance Jio launched a Rs 2,399 long term prepaid plan for users who are working from home due to the coronavirus lockdown. 

This plan offers 2GB data per day, unlimited Jio-to-Jio voice calling, 12,000 FUP minutes of calling to other networks. It also provides 100 SMSes per day and has a validity of 336 days.

However, Jio already offers an annual recharge plan worth Rs 2,121. But this plan offers just 1.5GB data, unlimited Jio-to-Jio voice calling, 12,000 FUP minutes of Non-Jio voice calling, and 100 daily complimentary SMSes for 336 days. 

Both the yearly plans come with Jio’s complementary apps support including Jio Cinema, MyJioApp, Jio Savaan and more. The plan is available on a pan India basis.

Airtel’s New Recharge Plans!

Bharti Airtel Airtel has introduced Rs 99, Rs 129, and Rs 199 for its prepaid users.

Airtel’s Rs 99 Plan!

This is the cheapest prepaid plan by Airtel.

The Rs 99 plan comes with a total of 1GB data, unlimited calls to any network and a total of 100 SMS. The plan has a validity of 18 days. It also provides free subscription Zee5, Wynk Music and Airtel XStream. 

The plan is available in selected circles including Bihar, Jharkhand, Kolkata, MP, Chattisgarh, Orissa, Rajasthan, UP East and West Bengal.

Airtel’s Rs 129 Plan!

The Rs 129 also offers a total of 1GB data, unlimited calls to any network and a total of 300SMSes. The plan has a validity of 24 days. Similar to the Rs 99 prepaid plan, this plan also offers a free subscription to Zee5, Wynk Music and Airtel XStream. 

The pack is available in selected circles including Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Gujarat, Haryana, Kerala, Kolkata, MP, Chattisgarh, Maharashtra and Goa, North East, Orissa, Rajasthan, UP East, UP West, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal.

Airtel’s Rs 199 Plan!

Airtel has launched a similar plan like Reliance Jio, which is priced at Rs 199 and offers similar benefits. The Rs 199 Airtel prepaid plan offers more benefits when compared to the other two prepaid recharge packs.

The pack comes with 1GB data per day, unlimited calls to all networks and 100 SMSes per day. It also offers free subscription to Zee5, Wynk Music and Airtel XStream and has a validity of 24 days. 

This pack is also selectively available in Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Gujarat, Haryana, Kerala, Kolkata, MP, Chattisgarh, Maharashtra, Goa, North East, Orissa, Rajasthan, UP East, UP West, Uttarakhand and West Bengal.
