Tata Sky To Offer Free Landline Services Along With Broadband

Tata Sky has put up a poster on its official website and announced that it will now be offering free landline services along with the Tata Sky Broadband. The poster states, “Stream Unlimited. Call Unlimited. Free Landline with Tata Sky Broadband.” However, the exact date of the launch has not yet been announced by the telecom operator, but the poster suggests that it will be “Coming Soon.”

However, this is not an untapped field for telecom service providers. Reliance Jio and Bharati Airtel are already offering landline services along with their broadband services, and they too, offer the calling services for free.

Reliance Jio’s Jio Fiber’s fast service plan starts at Rs 699, wherein free calling services are offered as well.

Tata Sky To Compete With Reliance Jio and Bharati Airtel

To compete with Reliance Jio and Bharati Airtel, the prices of Tata Sky will play a huge role. As per reports, Tata Sky will be offering a plan with unlimited streaming and unlimited calling as well.

Currently, Tata Sky has unlimited plans with a validity of 3 months, 6 months and 12 months. The broadband fixed data plan of Tata Sky starts at Rs. 650 and offers 60 GB data for one month at 25 mbps speed. Apparently, if Tata SKy brings in the landline calling service in this now, the competition will be even more fierce.

Tata Sky’s Broadband has three unlimited monthly plans for customers to choose from. These plans start from Rs. 900, and go up to rs. 1,100. They offer Rs. 100 Mbps of Internet speeds. If a customer wishes to avail benefits for three, six, and twelve months, they can do so by paying the long-term rental in advance.
