Realme 6i Specs, Features
Realme 6i will be the leaked Realme smartphone with the model number RMX2040, as per the leaks. Realme 6i is going to be a toned down version of the current Realme 6, recently unveiled by the company in the country.
The Realme 6i is said to feature some of the top features which includes a top-end mid-range processor backed by top of the line specs on a budget.
Realme launched two phones in India last week: Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro.
Realme 6i has been previously certified on Singapore’s IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority). There have been multiple Realme smartphones certified by this Singapore regulatory body.
As other Realme i smartphones, the Realme 6i is going to be toned down Realme series smartphones with some inferior specs. Coming to Realme 6i specs, Realme 6i will be a toned-down version of the upcoming Realme 6.
Similarly, Realme 6i will come with a quad camera system at the back running on a new mid-range chip. The system will house a massive battery, expected around 5,000mAh and not less running on the newly unveiled Realme UI based on Android 10.
It’s been confirmed that Realme 6i will be powered by MediaTek Helio G80 on the new smartphone.
Recently MediaTek launched the Helio G80 as its latest gaming and graphics focussed octa-core SoC with HyperEngine technology. The new gaming-centric chip includes two Cortex-A75 cores with a maximum clock speed of 2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.8GHz.
The device will support up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC5.1 storage and a 48MP powered quad camera system.
Realme 6i Launch: Realme 6i Coming To India?
Realme 6i is launching on March 17 in Myanmar, and it will come to India sometime later, probably in some weeks from now. Realme has officially confirmed that the Realme 6i is coming to Myanmar on March 17.
Realme 6i has previously surfaced on multiple certification sites in Thailand and even the US, and the device will shortly be certified in India.
Realme 6i was also spotted on popular benchmarking site Geekbench revealing some key specs.
The official Realme Myanmar page on Facebook revealed the launch date of the Realme 6i in the country by updating its cover photo, as noticed by technology blog IndiaShopps. The cover photo shows that the launch will take place at 3pm MMT (2pm IST) on Tuesday, March 17.
