As per the listing of the device on the Indian certification’s database, the launch of the RedmiBook 14 is not too far, according to reports.
When Will RedmiBook Launch In India?
on February 11, Xiaomi’s Redmi brand put a teaser back in February that indicated it might unveil RedmiBook in India.
In this tweet, Redmi called it to be “Redmi’s new category launch,” the company threw glimpses of the device and we suspected it to be RedmiBook, but the launch didn’t happen due to some untold reasons.
As we know, Xiaomi is planning to enter the laptops’ space in India with a RedmiBook.
For the same, the company had filed for a trademark with the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry for “RedmiBook” back in January, and this was enough to believe in the possibility.
So far the company made official the RedmiBook 13 and the RedmiBook 14 in China and it was unknown what notebook it will bring to India first.
But thanks to the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), we know it could be the RedmiBook 14.
It was first spotted first by MobileScout, the model number of the device listed on BIS is XMA1901-xx, which is the model number, matches the RedmiBook 14’s (see Bluetooth SIG).
Which Varian Will Be Launched In India?
Further, it appears the database has listed the model numbers for several possible RedmiBook 14 variants.
It is noteworthy that the listing doesn’t mention the XMA1903, which is the model number of RedmiBook 13.
That’s why we can’t be sure if RedmiBook 13 is also coming to India.
Moreover, it is possible we are also looking at the upgraded version of the RedmiBook 14 that got launched in China in August with 10th-gen Intel processors.
What Are The Key Features For RedmiBook 14?
Basically, the first Redmi-branded laptop the RedmiBook 14, went official in China back in May 2019 alongside the Redmi K20 series.
Further, the notebook got unveiled with a nearly bezel-less display, up to Intel Core i7 processor, and NVIDIA’s latest GPU.
Also, it features a 14-inch IPS display with full HD resolution and 81.2 percent screen-to-body ratio.
RedmiBook 14 comes in Core i5/i7 octa-core processor, 4GB/8GB RAM, 256GB/512GB storage options.
Additionally, the notebook comes preloaded with Windows 10 Home and a backlit keyboard.
Further, the RedmiBook 14 Enhanced Edition came with 10th-gen Intel processors.
So far the price of the RedmiBook 14 is yet not revealed in India, but expect it to be somewhere near to 40,000 INR.
