Redmi 9A comes with some top features on-board at this price with a huge battery. Redmi 9A will come with a 5,000mAh battery. Redmi 9A have a similar design and display as Redmi 8A with some internal upgrades. 

Redmi 8A currently is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 octa-core chipset, which also powering the predecessor smartphone, Redmi 7A.

The growing competition in the category does throw Redmi 9A some big challenges, but Xiaomi seems to have the perfect answer this time. 

The last couple of successors to the Redmi A budget series have done fair, while Realme C series smartphones did extremely well. The latest fight between Realme C3 and Redmi 9A in the budget category will be between pricing and features each has to offer.

Redmi 9A is said to come with the same Helio G70 processor as the new Realme C3.

Redmi 9A has been confirmed to have the same 5000mAh battery from the Redmi 8A. Both Redmi 8 and Redmi 8A packs a 5,000mAh battery, and are currently available in India. Each smartphone supports 18W fast charging with a USB-C port.

Redmi 9A Price, Availability

Redmi 9A will be available exclusively via Flipkart in India, as already confirmed in the teaser. Redmi 9A will directly challenge the just launched Realme C3, which also comes with similar features as 5,000mAh battery, Helio G70 and Android 10.

Coming to pricing, Redmi 9A will be available under Rs 7,000 in India. 

Redmi 8A is currently available starting at Rs 6,999, and the same is expected with Redmi 9A. The Redmi 9A price may start at Rs 6,999 for the base model with 3GB RAM, 32GB storage.
