Oppo K3 vs Vivo Z1 Pro: Pop-Up Sensor Or Punch-Hole, Who’s Winning Here?

While Z1 Pro targets Note 7 Pro and Realme 3 Pro in the segment, it will also challenge the new Oppo K3 as well.

The new Oppo mid-range flagship has some good features onboard, while the Vivo Z1 Pro also breaks a few barriers. The K3 smartphone is good enough to challenge others in the entry mid-range segment with the top features and premium finish on the out.

We have divided the primary categories into six sections to compare Vivo Z1 Pro and Oppo K3: design and build, display, hardware, software, camera, battery and pricing.

Let’s begin.

Display

Oppo K3 features a 6.53-inch full-screen AMOLED display, again without any notch. The displays is quite vibrant with minimal bezels on the sides with a little chin down under and an in-display optical fingerprint scanner. Plus, the AMOLED helps with the best of darks without any shadowing.

But it’s just a Full HD+ panel if compared to Oppo K3. Both the displays are great, and you won’t be able to find any noticeable difference at large.

In broad daylight, we didn’t face any issue using both the devices. But if you go deep and try to look closely, the AMOLED panel does offer some extra advantage to Oppo K3. In terms of viewing experience and and angles, the K3 will get an extra point here.

CONCLUSION: Oppo K3 vs Vivo Z1 Pro

Backed by sleek and flagship-level features, both Vivo Z1 Pro and Oppo K3 have something good to offer at a budget pricing. The newly launched Vivo Z1 Pro targets the under 15,000 crowd, while Oppo K3 will target the mid-range space. Vivo Z1 Pro does have some great features to challenge the likes of mid-budget bestsellers like Redmi Note 7 Pro and Realme 3 Pro.

While Oppo K3 will be a little higher up the margin targeting the sub-18,000 segment, its own ex sub-brand device Realme X will challenge it vehemently.

If we go head to head, Vivo Z1 Pro does excel in a few departments when it comes to battery, processor and the three camera system. The new punch-hole display also looks handsome, and you don’t need some mechanical sensor for a full screen display.

But again, Oppo K3 may get some edge in terms of premium experience.

The new Oppo device have almost everything on-board you would need on a mid-range premium smartphone. The presence of an AMOLED panel, an in-display fingerprint sensor, pop-up sensor and a few features does help it excel in the crowd.

If we had to pick one between the two, we would go for Vivo Z1 Pro for its value-for-money proposition. And if you only need a smartphone with a pop-up sensor in the range, it’s better to choose Realme X.
