Flipkart Knockout Offer Sale

Walmart owned Flipkart has launched a ‘Knock Out Offer’ sale on its platform which will host ‘best deals’ on smartphones in India. The sale will be live from June 10 and will last till June 14, 2019. Smartphones of Xiaomi, Honor, OPPO, and Vivo will be available on discounted prices in this sale. Additionally, the e-commerce giant will also be giving a Mobile Protection Plan that will take care of issues such as screen damage, hardware/software issues, water damage, and free pick-up and drop only at Rs. 99.

Xiaomi To Launch Redmi’s First 5G Phone in India

Xiaomi has declared that it is working on a 5G ready smartphone that will be launching in India soon. This smartphone will be through its brand, Redmi, as confirmed by the global spokesperson of Xiaomi, Donovan Sung. Xiaomi has announced this to compete with Realme’s 5G phone that will be launched later this year. However, Xiaomi already has launched its first 5G phone in Switzerland that is called Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G. Sung has not revealed many details about Redmi’s 5G phone yet.

Oppo Patents For Selfie Camera With Slider Mechanism

After obtaining a patent for a rotating pop-up selfie camera, Oppo has already added another patent to its name. This patent is for a smartphone with a slider mechanism enabled selfie camera setup. This mechanism is similar to the one on Oppo Find X smartphone, which is Oppo’s flagship device. The mechanism shows an Oppo smartphone which is almost bezel-less on the sides and on the top and the back of the phone will slide up only when the selfie camera is being used.

Vivo IQOO Youth Edition To Launch Soon

Vivo is planning to launch a smartphone, IQOO Youth Edition, that will specialise in the gaming sector. This phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s SD 845 chipset and have a storage of 128 GB with 4000 mAh battery, as revealed by posters on Weibo. The same phone has also been spotted on Geekbench, which confirms a 6 GB RAM and Android 9.0 Pie as well. There is another sighting of the same phone on Geekbench with different specifications, which means either one is fake or there are two variants of the same phone.

Samsung Galaxy A70s, A30s, A20s India Launch

Samsung will launch some of the smartphones that it launched under the Galaxy A series in India. Samsung Galaxy A70s, Galaxy A30s, Galaxy A20s are three of the phones that will be launched in India sometime in the next half of 2019. The Samsung Galaxy A70s will be launched in three colours, black, white and lavender, whereas the Galaxy A20s will come in black and blue colours. However, it is not revealed what the ‘s’ in the name of the smartphones stands for.

Amazon has kicked off its Amazon Fab Phones Fest that will offer discounts on smartphones pf top brands such as OnePlus, Nokia, Apple, Samsung and many more. This Fab Phones Fest by Amazon will begin on June 10 and will last till June 13, 2019, wherein top smartphones are available with a discount of as much as 40 per cent. Smartphones such as OnePlus 6T, Xiaomi Mi A2, iPhone XR, Samsung Galaxy M30 and more will be available on huge discounts.
