After a heinous price leak, the smartphone is almost revealed with everything you need to know about the device. The latest is the confirmation of HDR10+ support. The company is aiming to offer some next-gen display technology performance.
While HDR10+ is going to be a proprietary feature on the Pro, the regular model sticks to an AMOLED panel.
Redmi X has also been leaked again, and this time it’s three new features including the much-loved 3.5mm headphone jack. Both the flagships from Xiaomi and OnePlus will be unveiled on the same day, May 14.

OnePlus 7 has already been confirmed to have a Quad HD+ display. The upcoming flagship will offer a higher 90Hz refresh rate like other gaming smartphones. The company will also be adding up HDR10+ support to offer one of the best of viewing experiences.
HDR10+ support offer better and high quality frame-by-frame adjustments.
This will OnePlus 7 Pro to work with the best of contrast from the HDR source content. The HDR10+ additional support on the Quad HD+ display will help the smartphone produce of around 4000 nits of peak brightness.
Generally used for televisions, the addition of HDR10+ certification to a smartphone will help it deliver some top level performance as the company calls it “display of the future”.

OnePlus 7 Pro will go official on May 14 along with OnePlus 7 globally. The pro version has already been confirmed with a 3x optical zoom lens, and a pop-up selfie camera and all-screen no-notch display. The pre-bookings are live now, and the smartphone will sell starting at Rs 49,999 for the base model.
Three New Redmi X Features Confirmed: Ultrawide Camera, 3.5mm Jack & NFC
Xiaomi’s upcoming Redmi flagship device has been making news everywhere. Since its first teaser, the smartphone has been leaked several times. The teaser and live pictures already confirm the presence of a no-notch panoramic full-screen display with the help of a pop-up selfie sensor on top.
The teaser also confirmed the presence of a three-camera system at the back. Now, the new leak states that the camera configuration will also include ba wide-angles sensor.
The earlier leaks mentioned a 48MP primary camera coupled with 13MP and 8MP sensors. Mi 9 SE comes with the same setup, and Xiaomi will be using it again for Redmi X.
The 48MP sensor is going to be the current best, Sony IMX 586 sensor. The 13MP lens is going to be a wide-angle sensor while the 8MP sensor will help to add up depth sensing.
Another surprising addition is the 3.5mm audio jack. A feature now scarce in flagship devices, Redmi X will come with a dedicated 3.5mm headphone jack.
The upcoming Redmi X will also support NFC to offer contactless payment solutions and data transfer. Set to launch on May 14, the same day as OnePlus 7 launch, there’s a lot still to be revealed.
Till now, we know the Redmi flagship will come with a notch-less 6.39-inch Full HD+ display, Snapdragon 855 chipset, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, 32MP pop-up selfie snapper and a 4,000mAh battery supporting fast charging.
