Nokia 6.2 Can Have Punch Hole Display, Images Leaked: Price, India Launch, Features & More!

While 2018 was a year of notches, in 2019 we will see smartphones adopting the new punch-hole display technology. Started by Huawei, the punch-hole display smartphones are expected to hit the mainstream market very soon.

Samsung, Huawei’s own Honor and Oppo are already ready with their punch-hole display phones.

To join the list, it’s now HMD Global, the new Nokia owners. Nokia will soon be joining the punch-hole display bandwagon, and even the second Nokia device with a punch-hole display has been leaked after Nokia 8.1 Plus. It’s Nokia 6.1 successor, Nokia 6.2 seen with a display hole.

After Nokia 8.1 Plus, its now Nokia 6.2 which has been leaked with a similar display hole. The leaked report has revealed some key details about the upcoming Nokia 6.2 including its display, processor and cameras.

The Nokia 6.2 is going to be a successor to Nokia 6.1, launched in early 2018. While the 2018 Nokia 6  came with a few upgrades only, the new Nokia 6.2 will see some dramatic changes on the outside.

As per the leak, the upcoming Nokia 6.2 will come with a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display with a display cutout on the top right.

The display hole will house in the selfie camera with an edge-to-edge display and a little edge at the bottom. At the back, Nokia 6.2 will come with Zeiss branded dual cameras backed by AI features.

The leak says, the Nokia 6.2 will come with Snapdragon 632 chipset, the recently launched octa core midranger.

Nokia 6.2 may come in two variants. The smartphone will come with 4GB or 6GB of RAM. Going back, the Nokia 6.1 came with Snapdragon 630 with up to 4GB of RAM. Nokia 6.2 will come with a 3,000mAh-plus battery backed by Qualcomm Quick Charge support.

The upcoming Nokia 6.2 is expected to go official by the end of January or early February. Nokia 6.2 will debut in China, and will hit the global markets later. Coming to the Nokia 6.2 India launch, it may land in India by the end of the first quarter. Almost all the Nokia devices from China has been launched in India, so Nokia 6.2 India launch will definitely happen if any such device exists.

Also, the company is expected to unveil the Nokia 9 PureView flagship by the end of January. So, the Nokia 6.2 India launch will happen sometime later, maybe after Nokia 8.1 Plus.

The Nokia 6.2 India price will be somewhere around its current mid-range flagships. Nokia 6.1 Plus has done pretty well in India. Though the new Nokia 6.2 with the latest technology may cost higher than the standard mid-budget flagships. The expected Nokia 6.2 India price is around Rs 20,000 or maybe more.

The Nokia 6.2 India price should be around the upcoming Honor View 20 and Nova 4, which will feature the same punch-hole display technology.
