Airtel wants to say thanks to all those customers, who are upgrading to a 4G connection.

Under #AirtelThanks initiative, which was launched in August, anyone can get Rs 2000 from Airtel, by buying a new 4G smartphone.

That purchase can be made anywhere (online/offline), and there has to be no postpaid connection as well.

So, what is the catch?

The Only Condition For Getting Rs 2000

The only condition is: Your Airtel number should be atleast 90 days old. Whether it be prepaid or postpaid, your currently Airtel number which you will insert into the new 4G smartphone has to be atleast 90 days old.

If you meet this criteria, then literally, you don’t need to do anything.

Buy a new 4G handset, and insert your atleast 90 day old Airtel SIM into that.

And voila! Rs 2000 will be presented to you.

How Will Airtel Provide Rs 2000?

Once you activate your 90-day old Airtel SIM in a new 4G handset, Airtel will automatically send you vouchers worth Rs 2000 into your My Airtel app.

Once you receive the vouchers, they can be used as follows:

• Prepaid recharges for Rs 199, Rs 249 and Rs 448 plans
• Postpaid bill payment for all myPlan Infinity plan above Rs 399

Few pointers:

• The voucher code will be valid for 40 months, since the day of activation
• Only one voucher can be used in one transaction
• This scheme is part of Airtel Thanks initiative, wherein every customer who spends atleast Rs 100 on Airtel network will be presented with exciting new offers and deals, just like this Rs 2000 offer.

Airtel’s Special Partnerships With Flipkart, MakeMyTrip, Netflix

Under the same Airtel Thanks offer, customers can now receive customized offers from Netflix, MakeMyTrip, Flipkart and more.

Special cashback coupons for Flipkart purchases, special deals on MakeMyTrip, and customized ‘phone-only’ plan on Netflix for Airtel users are expected soon.

On Flipkart, if an Airtel user purchases a new phone, then Rs 2500 worth of vouchers will be presented, besides 100 GB of Data and Rs 2000 worth of MakeMyTrip vouchers.

Postpaid plan users of Airtel are also eligible to get Netflix plans of Rs 1500 for free (3 months free subscription). And Airtel users who are spending more than Rs 150 per month will get complimentary access of Zee5 content, via MyAirtel app.
