Creating a completely new segment, Mahindra hopes to destroy its competition, which is primarily the hatchbacks, and offer something customers have not seen before.

M&M has tied up with Flipkart to offer online bookings of the vehicle online through their portal. The online bookings will go live on the midnight of January 18.

Talking about the unique sales idea, Anil Goteti, Vice President – Business at Flipkart, said, “Online today is a must have strategy for all players to respond to the growing demand of their customers who are spread across different cities and towns in the country. First time in the automobile category, this exclusive tie-up will allow Mahindra access Flipkart’s extensive reach and network to connect with their customers and provide them the ease to book Mahindra KUV100 online.”

How to book KUV100 online

Starting midnight January 18, buyers will be able to ‘book’ the car for a specific amount, which has not been disclosed by either Flipkart or Mahindra yet. Once booked, the vehicle booking confirmation has to be taken to any Mahindra dealership within 7 days and all paperwork and formalities be completed.

Mahindra and Flipkart have promised delivery of the vehicle within 30 days from the time all formalities are completed at the Mahindra dealership.

KUV100 comes in variety of colours and packs in a lot of punch for the price it is being offered at. No doubt Mahindra has a winner in its portfolio, but the tie-up is further strengthening the brand. We can be sure to see more automobile manufacturers partnering with e-commerce majors like Snapdeal, Flipkart and Amazon to launch not only vehicles, but also their accessories and after sales service packages.
