Yu Yureka Plus launched, shows off extreme toughness With 52 drops; unbroken!


So, finally today the hype got over! Yu Televentures today launched their third smartphone i.e. Yu Yureka Plus, which is the next version of already existing Yu Yureka! Yu has been teasing the toughness of the smartphone for quite a few days. The phone comes with same specs as Yu Yureka does but now, it has a new 1080p display panel under Rs. 9,999 which is the second smartphone in the segment with full HD display after Lenovo K3 Note.

If you are still concerned, the device comes with 615 64-bit Octa Core processor with Adreno 405 GPU coupled with 2 gigs of RAM. It has 16 gigs of on-board memory which can be expanded with SD card. It also has a 13 MP primary camera sensor with LED flash and a 5 MP secondary sensor. Phone comes with Cyanogenmod 12 out of the box, 4G support, polycarbonate back, new chase for toughness and a not so big 2,500 mAh battery.

Samsung took wraps off the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 and 9.7


Samsung has launched its very own competitor for iPad i.e. Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 and 9.7 with a slim body profile. These tablets are the world’s thinnest ones at the moment with 5.6 mm in thickness. It’s the next generation for previous year’s Galaxy Tab S series. As far as specs are concerned Tab S2 8.0 and 9.7 comes with Super AMOLED display with screen size of 8 inch and 9.7 inch respectively.

Both the devices are powered with Octa Core Exynos 5433 processor clocked at 1.9 + 1.3 GHz, coupled with Mali GPU and 3 gigs of DDR3 RAM. Both the tablets come with 32 and 64 gigs of on-board storage with SD card support up-to 128 gigs. 8 MP sensor on the back and 2.1 MP sensor on the front covers the camera front.

Apart from the specs, these tablets comes with Fingerprint biometric lock reader, Android 5.1 out of the box, 4G enabled, 4000 mAh and 5870 mAh battery respectively.

With 5 MP front camera, LG Bello II announced!


LG has just announced it’s this year’s edition of Bello Smartphone. The phone comes with 5 inch FWVGA display with 854*480 pixels resolution. It also has 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor with is coupled up with 1 gigs of RAM. On memory management front, the device comes with 8 gigs of ROM which can be expanded with the help of SD card.

Phone runs on Android 5.1 out of the box as well. 8 MP primary sensor and 5 MP secondary sensor along with Selfie flash which can turn phone’s display into soft and minimal flash. Dual SIM support depending on the region will also be there. No 4G support is there and it comes with a 2540 mAh battery.

After a number of leaks regarding Note 5’s design, finally today we have the live pictures of the device. From the images it can be seen that the device will come with a design statement adopted from Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge. Like the Samsung’s current flagship, Note 5 will also feature a glass back which is a replacement for last year’s leather one! Apart from this, there seems to be a new sPen added. Samsung has always tried to do improvements with sPen’s functionality and it seems to be major upgrade this year. A automatic sPen ejection mechanism is also expected to arrive with the device. No information about specs is revealed as of now!

Yu Fit to go on sale on 29th July, registrations starts tomorrow!


Yu’s YU Fit is the first wearable from the company which was launched last month! YU Fit is the most affordable and most advance fitness band at the moment. Replacing the Mi Band in consumer’s mind, Yu Fit’s small OLED display and a better companion app makes the wearable a better buy over other competitors. The band will go on sale on 29th of July and registrations for the same will start tomorrow itself on Amazon India.
