While Simmtronics is not much of a known brand, their low cost Xpad surely is something you should think about if you are on a budget. The dual-sim 3.5 inch phone has everything that you would want from a budget smartphone. Unfortunately, it does not support 3G, but apart from it you get everything from this phone for a price which is quite good as well. The Li-Ion battery is rated 1200 mAh which give you a standby time of 200 hours.
And yes, it does come with a warranty of one year and you can pick it up from Flipkart.
Maxx MSD7 AX410 – Rs. 2498
This is the only phone below Rs. 2500 that give you a 4.0 Inch Multi Capacitive Touch Screen and thats why we decided to include this phone in the list. It has an inbuilt 512 MB memory coupled with 256 MB RAM and it supports external memory of which can be extended Up to 32 GB extensible memory. The processor is 1 GHz, Chipset: SC6820 processor & has a 1500 mAH battery.
The only downside of this phone is that it runs on an age-old Android 2.3.6 version. If you are ok with that, this could be one of the budget Android phones you should consider.
Celkon A9+ – Rs. 2499
Another budget phone you should definitely give a look is Celkon A9+. With it price dropping by about Rs. 500 recently, this phone has definitely become a value for money phone.
