India’s largest automobile manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, is gearing up for the launch of the newest Maruti Suzuki Alto K10.
Days ahead of the launch, MSIL has released a teaser of the renewed entry-level hatchback. Lets look at what the teaser reveals about the new Maruti Suzuki Alto K10!
Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Teaser Launched
The Alto 800 is Maruti Suzuki’s most affordable vehicle in the Indian market. The company is now working to introduce a new generation model for the same.
The Maruti Suzuki Alto has not just one of the best-selling hatchbacks, it is also one of the top-selling cars in the Indian market for a long time.
The new Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 will reportedly be launched on August 18, and official bookings for the car have already been opened, at Rs. 11,000.
The new Alto K10 will be available alongside the current Alto 800 and will be supported by the new Heartect platform. However, it is anticipated to grow in size and receive a completely new exterior appearance.
Halogen Headlamps, Single Front Grille on Alto K10
Additionally, as per the teaser video, halogen headlamps in the shape of a teardrop and a large single-piece front grille will be featured on the Alto. The Alto will run on steel wheels with coverings and will not have fog lamps.
The new Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 sports a boxy appearance at the back with square taillights, K10 badging, and a bumper-mounted number plate recess.
The Alto’s interior will be completely black, with a floating touchscreen infotainment system, a semi-digital instrument cluster, a manual air conditioner, and fabric seating. Additionally, the Alto K10 will be available in six exterior colours and four variations.
The K10 1.0-liter petrol engine, which also powers the S-Presso and new Celerio, will be the centrepiece of the new Alto. With a five-speed manual transmission and an AMT, the gasoline engine will be able to generate 66 horsepower and 89 Nm of torque.
The top-end variant of the next generation Alto is expected to offer features like the latest version of Maruti Suzuki Smartplay infotainment system with shoppingmode Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, power windows, LED DRLs, wheel caps, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors.
