Sparkling New Kia Seltos 2022, Kia Sonet 2022 Launched In India: Check What’s New? Variants, Price & More

2022 Seltos and 2022 Sonet have been launched by Kia Motors for the Indian market. The starting ex-showroom price of Sonet is Rs. 7.15 lakhs whereas that of Seltos is Rs. 10.19 lakhs.

There are some additional features alongside some cosmetic updates. To both the SUVs, 2 new colours called Imperial Blue and Sparkling Silver are added.

Seltos 2022

A new iMT transmission for the diesel engine has been introduced by Kia in 2022 Seltos. Available in HTK+ variant, the 1.5-litre diesel engine produces 115 PS of max power and 250 Nm of peak torque. Paddle shifters equipped with automatic transmission are also available on all variants. The same is true for drive as well as traction modes.

Side bags, Electronic Stability Control, Vehicle Stability Management, Brake Assist, All-wheel Disc Brakes and Highline Tyre Pressure Monitoring System are being offered as equipment in Kia. Curtain airbags will now be offered with HTX+ variant. Some cosmetic changes to Seltos logo can be done. The X-Line variant will now get X Line Logo on Indigo Pera Seats.

Sold in 19 variants, ex-showroom prices of Seltos are from Rs. 10.19 lakhs to Rs. 18.45 lakhs.

Sonet 2022

Some features and no mechanical changes are to be done to the Sonet. As standard, Sonet comes with side airbags and Highline Tyre Pressure Monitoring System. Vehicle Stability Management, Hill Assist Control, Brake Assist and Electronic Stability Control will be offered with the iMT variant. With the HTX+ variants, curtain airbags would be offered. With the HTX variant, one will get 4.2-inch colour instrument cluster. Semi leatherette upholstery will be offered with HTE variants. Logo of Sonet has also been updated.

Sold in 21 variants, ex-showroom prices of Sonet are from Rs. 7.15 lakhs to Rs. 13.09 lakhs.
