4G Version Of Poco M4 Pro Is Launching On This Date: Rebadged Version Of Redmi Note 11S?

Poco announced that the Poco M4 Pro is to be launched in India on 28th February. The 4G model of the phone is going to be introduced days after the smartphone maker revealed the 5G variant of the device. The Poco M4 Pro 5G had been launched in the country mid-Feb and went on sale only recently. This 4G variant of the Poco M4 Pro might be a more affordable alternative for customers who don’t want to spend extra on 5G connectivity.

2nd Poco Phone In 2022

It will be Poco’s second phone released in the year 2022 in India. Poco has not shared any details regarding this phone. But, a teaser poster reveals that the Poco M4 Pro is going to be launched on the mentioned date.

A lot of specifications of the Poco M4 Pro were leaked ahead of time. It seems as though the model is going to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11S. The device is expected to come with a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. This is a notable fact because the Poco M4 Pro 5G has a LCD panel. An OLED panel is not better but is still often reserved for the high-end phone models.

Top Specs Of Poco M4 4G

The Poco smartphone might have a 12nm MediaTek Helio G96 CPU that could be paired along with the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The phone may be launched with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM which can be coupled with 64GB or 128GB of UFS2.2 storage. The POCO M4 Pro 4G is going to have MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 out of the box.

The triple camera setup on the Poco M4 Pro is expected to have a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor as well as a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front camera will be situated within a center-aligned hole punch and will have a 16-megapixel resolution. Apart from this, the phone is likely to have a 5,000mAh battery and is going to support 33W fast charging.

Ideally, the 4G variant should cost less than the 5G variant but Redmi Note 11S starts at Rs 16,499. But, if the Poco M4 is the same phone, it will become costlier than the 5G variant.

All of this information is speculative. Poco hasn’t confirmed any of it yet. People should expect to hear more from the brand in the coming days as the launch date for the phone is nearing.
