How To Use Your Whatsapp On Two Different Phones At The Same Time? But There Is A Huge Risk Involved!
WhatsApp has finally introduced the feature allowing users to use one WhatsApp account on more than one device.
This feature only lets users log in from a smartphone, computer, or an iPad at the same time.
This means that users still can’t use one WhatsApp account on two phones.
But third-party sources may come to the rescue.

Only One Number To Verify Account
Beware that if you frequently attempt to switch your WhatsApp account between different devices you may be blocked from re-verifying your account.
The WhatsApp FAQ page says that your WhatsApp account can only be verified with one number on one phone.
If you have a dual SIM phone you have to choose one number to verify with since there is no option to have a WhatsApp account with two phone numbers.
How To Use One WhatsApp Account On Two Phones
Download an app called Whatscan Pro from Google Play Store. It is an Android only app.
Make sure that your phones are connected to a stable wifi connection.
Open the web browser on the secondary phone which you want to use WhatsApp on and open WhatsApp web.
Open the phone’s mobile browser and go to the WhatsApp home page.
Then request the desktop site and then you will find a web page with a Qr code displayed.
Scan the code displayed on the second phone with the WhatsApp app.
On the first phone, it will automatically log in with your account to WhatsApp Web on the second phone. This way, you will be able to use the app on both phones.
Again, don’t try it too many times or else WhatsApp may flag it as suspicious activity and block your account.
Privacy Risks
While this may be the much needed convenience feature, it is not without its pitfalls.
If you log in to WhatsApp from a public computer and forget to log out, anybody can access the messages.
The same goes for offices. If you are using WhatsApp on your office computer and don’t manually log out, the next person on the shift can easily access your chats.
Nothing’s stopping them from taking a few screenshots and posting them on social media.
However, you can remove the secondary devices from your primary phone by selecting the Settings menu.
New Feature For Apple Users
iPhone and iPad users will now be able to play voice notes on WhatsApp even outside a chat.
So if you are listening to a voice note, it will not pause when you move to a different chat.
This is different because previously a voice note would abruptly stop playing when the user moved to a different chat.
To enjoy the new feature iOS users have to update their phone to the latest WhatsApp for iOS v22.4.75 version.
