Booking For Kia’s New 7-Seater MPV Starts In India: Price Rs 15 Lakh? Features, USPs?
In a Twitter post on Thursday, Kia Motors India has announced that booking for the upcoming Carens MPV will commence from January 14, 2022.

The upcoming Kia Carens will rival the likes of Hyundai Alcazar, Maruti Suzuki XL6, Tata safari, Toyota Innova Crysta and Mahindra Marazzo.
This will be the fourth passenger car from the South Korean brand hitting the Indian market after the Seltos, Carnival and Sonet.
The Seltos and Sonet models brought a lot more success to the Korean carmaker.
Kia is planning to repeat that success with the Carens MPV now.
This model is going to be the first three-row model from the brand in India.
The carmaker plans to build Carens MPV locally in India at the automaker’s plant in Andhra Pradesh’s Anantapur.
Interestingly, India will be the first country to get this MPV before any other market in the world.

Coming to its design, the MPV gets a styling that is of premium SUVs, but practically it is an MPV.
It gets a stylish front fascia, completely different compared to the other models available from the brand in India.
Kia Carens gets large LED headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights.
With a sleek humanity line, a large front grille with diamond-shaped mesh and sleek chrome lining flanked by vertically slated LED fog lamps.
Kia Carens MPV Features And Specifications
Carens is equipped with sporty alloy wheels, chrome garnished door handles, turn indicator integrated wing mirrors, side sills and black cladding, delta-shaped wraparound LED taillights connected by a wide reflector, chunky bumper with black cladding, chrome trim and a sculpted tailgate.
Kia Carens MPV comes with a stylish and premium cabin with a host of features including a digital instrument cluster, a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a host of connectivity features, a dual-tone color theme, leather seats etc.
Coming to safety features, Kia Carens MPV gets six airbags, ABS, ESC, HAC, VSM, DBC, BAS, all-wheel disc brakes, TPMS and rear parking sensors available across variants as standard.
Kia Carens are powered by both petrol and diesel engine options.
It will be offered with a seven-speed DCT automatic gearbox with paddle shifters in combination with the turbo petrol engine and a six-speed manual gearbox.
