These Infosys Employees Will Work From Office Once A Week; WFH Ends At Infosys?

After the breaks caused by the pandemic, India as a country is coming back on track. And why wouldn’t it? Vaccination drive in the country is going on in full swing, coronavirus cases are declining and citizens in general are getting their confidence to conduct business as usual are getting back. In the same zeal, several corporates are planning to call back their employees to offices. Like other IT giants, Infosys is also gearing up to bring back its employees to office desks.

Infosys unveils its Hybrid work model

Recently Infosys announced its second-quarter earnings to the press. During the same event, the IT major unveiled how it’s engaging to adopt a hybrid work model. To implement this program, the company is calling its senior leaders to the offices once a week.

The Chief Operating Officer of Infosys, Pravin Rao while talking to the press, said that they have decided to make it mandatory for the senior executives to attend the offices at least once a week from this month. He also said that at present over 90% of Infosys employees are working from home globally.

The world is opening up, it is time India opened up too

In China at least 91% of employees are working from the office, at the same time, 98.5% of staff are still working from home in India, the US, and UK. The top official also said that the company has opened most of its offices while following strict COVID protocols. The company has also allowed employees to come to offices on a voluntary basis.

The Chief Operating Officer also said that they have requested senior executives to have an intervention for employees at least once a month so that a larger population is ready to come to the office.

So, Infosys is working on a hybrid model which will provide flexibility to the employees at the same time it will enable them to fulfill the clients’ requirements efficiently.
